The property is beautifully located very close to the lake and beautiful Pieve village in Manerba del Garda.
Just a few hundred metres away is one of Valtenesi’s most beautiful churches, Pieve di Santa Maria di Tenesi. Historically the mother church of all the churches and chapels in Manerba del Garda and Valtenesi, it was built at the behest of the bishop of Verona in the 5th century. Its Virgin Mary dedication dates back to the 6th-7th centuries and a legend relating to parish priest Ermoaldo, suggesting that it may have been a fully functioning church as early as the Middle Ages. It is square in plan with three naves divided up by stone columns on which rest round arches, and the work inside is mainly 15th centuryand late Gothic in style. 10 minutes’ walk away is famous Porto Torchio in Manerba del Garda, the starting point for a very long equipped beach and a beautiful illuminated walk. Porto Torchio is also the starting point for trips to ‘Isoletta di San Biagio ordeiConigli’ or the luxuriant ‘Isola del Conte Cavazza’.
